Pastor and Founder of New Life Community Church

The Pastor's hometown is Republic, MO. He moved to Bolivar in 1986. He has been married to his wife, Sandie, for over 44 years. He has two sons that are both married and many beautiful grand children. His interests include crappie fishing, metal detecting, playing guitar, civil war history, blacksmithing, and smoking meat.

Dean & Tina Obert

Dean and Tina have been married for 18 years. They have two girls and a cat named Boots. Dean's hometown is Fair Play, MO and his interests include hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and anything outdoors. Tina's hometown is Dunnegan, MO. Her interests include reading, cooking, pinterest, and spending time with family and friends.

They both enjoy card games and board games and love to have large get togethers at their house with friends and family.

Robert & Becky Baker

Robert and Becky have been married for 23 years and have been active members at New Life for almost 22 of those years. Robert was born in Springfield but has been a Bolivar resident for most of his life. Becky was born in Turlock , California , but was raised just a county over and graduated from Stockton High School .

Robert's first contact with some of the actual church members was at a men's breakfast, which he had been invited to by Becky's late grandfather, Orville Marchant. Then, they began to attend church with Becky's grandma, Sadie, and Orville. Now both sets of their parents are members as well as Becky's twin sister, Donna.

They have been blessed with two daughters and the family has two dogs.
Robert enjoys hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. Becky enjoys sewing, reading, gardening, making her fresh salsa during the summer and spending time with her girls and Robert. Their family enjoys camping during the summer as well.

Donna Hunt

Donna has been married to her husband Billy for 22 years. They have two children, Kaitlyn and Brady, and reside in Bolivar. Fourteen years ago she became a part of New Life Church. She loves being involved in the church and reaching out to others. Donna serves wherever she is needed along with being the compassion ministry leader.

To quote her, she says, “ I am pretty simple and love life.  My church family is important to me.  God gave me a wonderful man to love and children to nurture.  We enjoy spending time together on the water, whether that be fishing on the lake or on vacation at the ocean.  I enjoy helping others, playing tennis, swimming, reading, fishing, and spending time with God.”
