Basic Beliefs

Our basic beliefs

We believe...

No matter what has happened to someone or what they may have done, everyone deserves a chance to start their life over because of the sacrifice and work of love and mercy that Jesus made for all of mankind.

We believe...

The Bible is our owner’s manual for this life and we can’t pick and choose what parts we want to obey and what parts we don’t want to obey. The Bible is what we believe, what we preach, and what we live.

We believe...

It is tough to figure it out all on your own and you need a loving, caring church where you can hear preaching and teaching that helps you understand your responsibility to the Lord, while you grow at your own pace in your relationship with Jesus.

We believe...

The Gospel is the “Good News” that proclaims to us that a victory has been won and a way has been made for anyone to be able to start their life over. And that following the plan of Salvation is the correct response to that “Good News” for those who understand and want to start a new life

We believe...

We identify with Jesus’ death by repenting, which means changing our minds about the way we have always done things and leaving the old life behind.

We believe...

We identify with Jesus’ burial by Baptism in Jesus name to give us a clean slate and change our hearts so we can start all over.

We believe...

in receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost in order to identify with the resurrection of Jesus’ dead body by the Spirit. This gives us the peace and joy to live our new life differently than ever before and the power to say no to the things that have always dragged us down.

We believe...

A real growing, love relationship with Jesus will motivate someone to possess the desire to keep his commandments. A growing relationship with Jesus will also bring about a desire to talk, to live and to dress to please him and represent him to those we come in contact with.
